As we approach this Christmas season and 2025, we reflect on Beth-Biri’s incredible journey and the countless blessings we’ve experienced over the past five years. Yesterday, we handed the keys to 1 O’Connell Street, West End, back to the landlords. It’s a moment filled with gratitude and peace as this transition aligns perfectly with the needs of Beth-Biri and the landlords’ family, who will now call this space home.
While it’s bittersweet to say goodbye, we celebrate this chapter with joy and hope for what lies ahead. This isn’t the end of Beth-Biri’s mission—it’s a new beginning. We’re excited to see how the seeds planted during our time here will continue to flourish in Brisbane and beyond.
Our Directors, Jael, Mel, and Zach, along with the Beth-Biri leadership team, will take time to reflect and seek the Lord’s guidance on what happens next. We promise to keep you updated as we discern the future of this ministry. What we know for now is that Jael and Zach, along with their two daughters, will be moving to Austria in May 2025 to live with Jael’s family for the foreseeable future. While this raises many questions about the fate of Beth-Biri, we trust that the Lord has a plan for this organization and all those it has touched.
As Beth-Biri transitions, we kindly ask that you no longer provide financial support. Instead, your prayers are deeply appreciated as we seek the Lord’s guidance for the next steps in this ministry.
To celebrate and honour this chapter, we’ve created a special farewell testimony video, featuring heartfelt reflections on the lives impacted and the incredible journey we’ve shared. 🎥 Watch the video here and join us in giving thanks for all that God has done through Beth-Biri.
This Christmas, we are especially thankful for you—our community, friends, volunteers and supporters. Your prayers, love, and encouragement have been a gift to us and to so many others.
🎄 Merry Christmas and blessings for the new year! 🎄
